IGM 9x9 Print Credits

The following is a breakdown of credits for the imagery and design of the IGM 9x9 brochure that is currently in use by the school. Each plate of the printed piece is presented here with captions and guides as to the individual author(s) of the work pictured. Our sincere thanks to the students, faculty, and staff for creating such amazing projects that we get to picture them in our materials!

The cover of the 9x9 was designed by A. Phelps, and painted by hand in Photoshop CS5 on a WACOM touch surface monitor. The "code rings" in the image were generated from a script created in Flash Builder 4 which takes an arbitrary source code file and arranges each line in a circle based on a few arguments such as 'degrees of rotation', 'text size' etc. It then inputs this information directly as a Photoshop layer.

This plate features several projects from the New Media Team Project experience at RIT, which is the capstone course for both the New Media Interactive Development BS degree in the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences (GCCIS), as well as the New Media Design and Imaging BFA degree in the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences (CIAS).
