When the Apocalypse arrives, who will be saved and who will be punished? As an Arbiter of god, the choice is yours. But when it comes to matters of Good and Evil, don’t expect to go unopposed…

Enter the world of Zeal, an RTS/computer augmented board game where players use their hands to wage war on a shared table top. Using an ordinary web cam and a set of printed markers, the Zeal system is able to translate real world movements into game world actions. As players move their markers across the table, their soldiers march across the terrain. When their markers draw close, their soldiers battle. The results of these battles decide which player has control, and control decides who wins the game. But what kind of Apocalypse would it be without a little hellfire and destruction? Players also wear special gloves that allow them to cast spells over the battlefield, either burning enemy soldiers or teleporting friendly ones. With quick army management and the reckless use of power any player, Good or Evil, can reign supreme in the world of Zeal.

Zeal was developed for 3D Graphics Programming over ten weeks by a team of six students.
