No one likes having to hunt through their fridge for food that has surpassed its expiration. Wouldn’t it be nice if every time you opened the door, that stuff was right in the front?
In Shelf Life you are the very creature responsible for making this occur. Play as the cheerfully ceramic Döscher Fridgewick, a gnome charged with the formidable task of making sure the fridge doesn’t become a teeming mass of moldsters. Peer through the back of the fridge and navigate up and down the shelves to bring food to the front where it can be removed. Rescue as much food as you can to build up your score.
Beware of food that has spoiled. If you can’t save it, it will come to life and chase you around. You must be cautious as food and foes are only removed when open the door is opened.
Shelf Life was designed and built in 10 weeks in DirectX 10 with C++.
