About the IGM Website

When the School of IGM needed to create a website that (a) met the expectations of the university with regards to quality, management, and effectiveness, and (b) conveyed our unique sense of the importance of media-centric computing while still (c) expressing our sense of enjoyment and wonder at the power of technology as a medium of expression, we could turn to only one place: our students and faculty. This website represents a collaboration between a few of the IGM faculty and some of our former students who founded a company to do exactly this kind of work for highend clients. That company, Darkwind Media, has flourished in recent years based on the quality and consistency of their work, and we are proud to have been able to work with them on our own web presence. Both the founders and several of the staff at Darkwind hold degrees in New Media Interactive Development and/or Game Design & Development, and represent some of the best and brightest we've had the pleasure of working with through the years. Our thanks to Darkwind Media for their continued effort on this project, and we hope that this site meets your needs and expectations as the online extension of the School.
