IGM New Media Student Named as Delegate to DNC

It's our pleasure to note that New Media Interactive Development student Mary Orth recently served as the official delegate to represent New York State and her congressional district at the Democratic National Convention in North Carolina. She writes that "of the remarkable lineup of speakers at the arena, First Lady Michelle Obama and former President Bill Clinton were among the most mesmerizing" and that she got to meet Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden as a part of her participation in Youth Council. Regardless of your political affiliation (or lack thereof), we're sure you'll agree this was an amazing opportunity for one of our students, and we're proud that Mary was selected as our delegate!
