Geistengrabber. A game made in C++ and DirectX for the class "Foundations of 2D Programming" by Todd Bello, Robert Cigna, Matthew Gall, and Michael Keck.

The game is a 2D platformer set in an infinite world. The player is Death's Intern and collects ghosts while avoiding the monks, upgrading their skills as they go.
